TROPIC, Utah-Wednesday, Bryce Valley High School hosted the Region 20 track meet. This event featured Bryce Valley, Escalante, Milford, Panguitch, Piute, Valley, Water Canyon and Wayne High Schools.

The Bryce Valley boys took the team title with 145 points. Panguitch finished second with 127 points. Water Canyon  placed third with 119 points. Milford placed fourth with 109 points. Valley finished fifth with 57 points. Piute placed sixth with 28 points and Wayne finished seventh with 15 points.

For the girls, Milford took the region title with 181 points. Panguitch finished second with 164 points. Bryce Valley placed third with 102 points. Wayne placed fourth with 49 points. Valley finished fifth with 33 points. Water Canyon placed sixth with 27 points. Escalante placed seventh with 20 points. Piute placed eighth with 10 points.

The top 8 finishers in every event advanced to the state track and field championship meet May 21 and 22 at Davis High School in Kaysville.

Athletes representing Bryce Valley, Escalante, Milford, Panguitch, Piute, Valley and Wayne will have their names appear in bold type if they finished in the top 8 as part of the Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network family.
