TAYLORSVILLE, Utah-Tuesday, SLCC two-sport star Rian Rawlings announced she would continue her sports career across the valley, accepting a women’s basketball scholarship to Westminster.
Rawlings, a native of Chubbuck, Idaho, helped lead the Bruins to an NJCAA women’s basketball national tournament appearance, playing 19 games for SLCC on the season.
While Rawlings also starred on the softball field for the Bruins, she has apparently made the right decision based on her skill set.
Rawlings averaged 5.2 points per game for the Bruins, helping to lead SLCC to a 26-5 record on the season.
