TACOMA, Wash.-Mason McCoy scored on a fielding error by Salt Lake pitcher Brian Moran as the Tacoma Rainiers outlasted the Bees 5-4 in 10 innings Thursday at Cheney Stadium in Pacific Coast League play.

Matt Koch earned the win on the mound for the Rainiers by posting a strikeout in one inning of work. Koch improves to 2-1 on the season for Tacoma.

Jake Gatewood homered in the loss for the Bees, who fell to 35-40 in defeat. Tacoma improved to 30-44 on the season with the win.

The Bees and Rainiers return to action Friday at 8:05 pm at Cheney Stadium.
