1A State First Round @ Swenson Baseball Complex

SPANISH FORK, Utah-The No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats downed No. 16 Green River 8-1 Saturday in the first round of the 1A state tournament at the Swenson Baseball Complex. Hoyt Hunt drove in a run in defeat for the Pirates. The Bobcats will next face No. 8 Bryce Valley Tuesday at 4:15 pm at Spanish Fork in the state quarterfinals.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Luke Andrus drove in two runs and the No. 8 Bryce Valley Mustangs blanked No. 9 Draper APA 8-0 in the first round of the 1A state tournament at the Swenson Baseball Complex. Clay Gray, Ricardo Navarro, Rocco Perez, Ryker Chynoweth and Antonio Moreno each drove in an additional run in victory for the Mustangs.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Braylon Jones and Hagen Barton each drove in a run and the No. 13 Tintic Miners upset No. 4 Maeser 9-3 at the Swenson Baseball Complex Saturday in the first round of the 1A state tournament. Tintic next faces No. 5 Altamont Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the state semifinals.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Peyton Lawton posted 3 RBI and the No. 5 Altamont Longhorns hammered No. 12 Utah Military Hill Field 10-0 in the first round of the 1A State Tournament Saturday at the Swenson Baseball Complex.

1A State First Round @ Spanish Fork Sports Park

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Gabe Cannon drove in three runs and the No. 2 American Heritage Patriots downed No. 15 Utah Military Camp Williams 18-3 in the first round of the 1A State Tournament at the Spanish Fork Sports Park Saturday. Caden Warden had an RBI in the loss for the Marauders. The Patriots next face No. 7 Intermountain Christian Tuesday at 11:45 am at Spanish Fork in the state quarterfinals.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Noah Hillaker drove in four runs and the No. 7 Intermountain Christian Lions routed No. 10 Merit 15-5 in the first round of the 1A State Tournament Saturday at Spanish Fork Sports Park.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Kade Severe, Kole Westwood and Jaxon Westwood drove in two runs apiece and the No. 3 Piute Thunderbirds blanked No. 14 Wendover 10-0 Saturday in the first round of the 1A State Tournament at Spanish Fork Sports Park. Yates Gleave and Blake Dalton each drove in a run apiece as well in the win for Piute. The Thunderbirds next face No. 6 Wayne Tuesday at 9:30 am in the state quarterfinals at Spanish Fork.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Ammon Peterson drove in three runs and the No. 6 Wayne Badgers pounded No. 11 Valley 13-0 in the first round of the 1A State Tournament at Spanish Fork Sports Park Saturday. Ryker Grundy, Ryker Peterson, Jake Batty and Blake Peterson drove in a run apiece for the Badgers.
