3A South

NEPHI, Utah-Alex Jackson threw five touchdown passes and the Juab Wasps routed Canyon View 49-28 in 3A South football play Friday. Chase Ingram and Ryker Richards added touchdown runs in victory for Juab. Jaxon Jensen threw four touchdown passes in the loss for the Falcons.

PRICE, Utah-Tyler Allan threw two touchdown passes and the North Sanpete Hawks pounded Carbon 37-7 Friday in 3A South football action. PJ Cook added scoring runs of 10 and 6 yards and Carson Cook contributed a 4-yard touchdown run in victory for North Sanpete.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Kayson Douglas tossed four touchdown passes, including three to Reggie Frischknecht, and the Manti Templars stormed past Richfield 41-21 in 3A South football action Friday. Larson Pogroszewski added a 58-yard touchdown run in victory for Manti. Emery Thorson threw two touchdown passes in the loss for the Wildcats.

2A South

MOAB, Utah-Carter Abraham threw two touchdown passes and the South Sevier Rams smacked Grand 33-6 Friday in 2A South football play. Grayson Friant ran for two scores and Brock Bair also added a touchdown run in the win for the Rams.

FILLMORE, Utah-Tyten Fails threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Gage Raddon and Kutlur Matheson added a 1-yard touchdown run as the Beaver Beavers downed Millard 17-3 in 2A South football action Friday. Santiago Amezuca added a 36-yard field goal in the win for the Beavers. Adalid Hernandez kicked a 19-yard field goal in the loss for the Eagles.

BLANDING, Utah-Parker Snyder threw three touchdown passes and the San Juan Broncos routed Delta 58-8 Friday in 2A South football play. Cameron Curtis had a 4-yard touchdown run in the loss for the Rabbits.

1A North

COALVILLE, Utah-Jake Smith ran for 192 yards and a pair of scores, including a 56-yard touchdown run on 4th and 2 to give North Summit control of the game as the Braves outlasted Gunnison Valley 22-19 Friday in 1A North football action.

The win improved the Braves to 3-5 and 2-2 in region play as they celebrated a successful Senior Night.

Tyrek Hopkins (17 car, 54 yards, TD) and Bryson Sorensen (11 touches, 73 scrimmage yards) led the Bulldogs in defeat as they fell to 5-3 and 1-2 in region play.

The Braves next return to action Friday by hosting Milford.

1A South

KANAB, Utah-Hayden Gubler had three touchdown runs and the Kanab Cowboys outgunned Milford 49-34 Friday in 1A South football play. Kilo Tsosie had two touchdown passes in defeat for the Tigers.

Baseball

1st Round At Spanish Fork 

SPANISH FORK, Utah-The No. 12 Diamond Ranch Diamondbacks downed No. 13 Green River 9-6 in the first round of the 1A state baseball tournament at Spanish Fork. The Diamondbacks next face Wayne Saturday at 9:30 am in the second round of the state tournament at Spanish Fork.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-The No. 14 Telos Titans gashed No. 11 Tintic 9-5 in the first round of the 1A state baseball tournament at Spanish Fork Friday. The Titans next face No. 6 Valley Saturday at 11:45 am in the second round of the state tournament at Spanish Fork.

JUNCTION, Utah-The Tabiona Tigers dismantled Piute 3-0 in non-region volleyball action Friday. The Tigers prevailed over the Thunderbirds 25-19, 25-20, 28-26.
