ROOSEVELT, Utah-The Union Cougars waxed the Juab Wasps 3-0 in Region 14 volleyball action Thursday. The Cougars dismantled the Wasps 25-20, 25-14, 25-21.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks waxed Delta 3-1 Thursday in Region 14 volleyball play.
Region 16
COALVILLE, Utah-The North Summit Braves waxed North Sevier 3-0 Thursday in Region 16 volleyball play. The Braves downed the Wolves 25-18, 25-21, 25-10. Marci Richins led the way with 22 kills to pace the Braves.
FILLMORE, Utah-The Millard Eagles stymied Duchesne 3-1 in Region 16 volleyball action Thursday in the battle of the Eagles. Millard prevailed 25-12, 19-25, 25-20, 25-16.
Region 18
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The Freedom Prep Eagles blanked Wasatch Academy 3-0 in Region 18 volleyball play Thursday. The Eagles routed the Tigers 25-11, 25-10, 25-10. Tameryn Koford posted 8 kills in victory for the Eagles.
Non-Region
PRICE, Utah-The Carbon Dinos edged Manti 3-2 Thursday in non-region volleyball play. The Dinos bested the Templars 25-19, 19-25, 25-21, 24-26, 15-9.
BICKNELL, Utah-The Wayne Badgers humbled Green River 3-0 in non-region volleyball play Thursday. The Badgers gashed the Pirates 25-18, 25-19, 26-24 to earn the straight sets victory.
KANAB, Utah-The Kanab Lady Cowboys drilled Piute 3-0 Thursday in non-region volleyball play. The Lady Cowboys bested the Thunderbirds 25-18, 25-15, 25-12 to prevail in straight sets.
MOAB, Utah-The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs stormed past Grand 3-1 in non-region volleyball play Thursday. The Bulldogs dismantled the Red Devils 22-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-17.
Girls Soccer
Region 14
MANTI, Utah-Breanne Wayman scored the sole goal of the game and the Manti Templars blanked North Sanpete 1-0 in Region 14 girls soccer play Thursday. Brynlee Wathen earned the shutout for the Templars.
NEPHI, Utah-Eden Hall scored twice and the Juab Wasps stymied Union 3-0 Thursday in Region 14 girls soccer play. CheyAnn Lewis also scored in the win for the Wasps.
2-A South
PAROWAN, Utah-Karlee Wood, Kynlee Rowley and Brynlee Andersen each found the net and the Parowan Rams waxed Millard 3-1 in 2-A South girls soccer play Thursday. Kara Camp scored in the loss for the Eagles.
BEAVER, Utah-Alina Lurth amassed a hat trick and the Beaver Beavers pounded San Juan 9-3 Thursday in 2-A South girls soccer play. Abby Cox and Ashtyn Bowles each scored twice as well in victory for the Beavers. Kaydee Marshall and Heidi Harris also scored for the Beavers in the win.
GUNNISON, Utah-The South Sevier Rams girls soccer team prevailed over Gunnison Valley 3-0 Thursday in 2A South Region soccer action.
