BEAVER, Utah-Kara Camp amassed a hat trick as the Millard Eagles pounded Beaver 8-0 Tuesday in 2A South girls soccer action. Audrey Camp added a pair of goals for Millard, while Camilla Robison, Kylee Bartholomew and Paige Cummings also scored for the Eagles. Bartholomew also posted the shutout for Millard.
GUNNISON, Utah-The Parowan Rams scored five goals in the first half and added three more in the second half to earn the 8-0 shutout win over Gunnison Valley Tuesday in 2A South Region girls soccer action.
Region 12
MONROE, Utah-Kate Robinson posted a hat trick, leading the Richfield Wildcats to a 7-0 rout of South Sevier in Region 12 girls soccer action Tuesday. Holly Torgersen added two more goals and Brittan Tait and Melissa Crane also scored for the Wildcats in the rout. Megan Terry posted the shutout for Richfield.
Region 14
LINDON, Utah-Anelie Peterson found the net for the only goal of the match as the Maeser Prep Lions edged North Sanpete 1-0 Tuesday in Region 14 girls soccer action.
MANTI, Utah-Ally Squire, Breanne Wayman and Megan Olson all scored two goals apiece and the Manti Templars routed Union 8-0 in Region 14 girls soccer action Tuesday. Brynlee Golding also scored in the win for the Templars. Katie Larsen posted the shutout for Manti.
Volleyball
Region 12
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats outlasted Emery 3-2 in Region 12 volleyball action Tuesday. Richfield won 25-16, 25-9, 23-25, 24-26, 15-11.
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-The Union Cougars routed the Juab Wasps 3-0 in Region 14 volleyball action Tuesday. The Cougars prevailed 25-18, 25-10 and 25-10 to win, going away.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks responded from a loss in the first set to overpower Manti going away, 3-1 Tuesday in Region 14 volleyball action. The Hawks won 20-25, 25-18, 25-20 and 25-16.
Region 16
SALINA, Utah-The Monticello Buckaroos overpowered the North Sevier Wolves 3-1 Tuesday in Region 16 volleyball action. The Buckaroos prevailed 26-24, 25-22, 25-15 and 25-18 to cruise to victory.
DUCHESNE, Utah-The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs outlasted the Duchesne Eagles 3-2 in Region 16 voleyball action Tuesday. The Bulldogs prevailed 25-18, 25-17, 19-25, 22-25 and 15-12.
Region 18
FILLMORE, Utah-The Millard Eagles outlasted Kanab 3-0 in Region 18 volleyball action Tuesday as the matches were all closely-contested. Millard prevailed 25-23, 25-15 and 25-23.
BEAVER, Utah-The Enterprise Wolves went on the road to earn a 3-1 win over Beaver in Region 18 volleyball action Tuesday.
Non-Region
DELTA, Utah-The South Sevier Rams outlasted Delta 3-2 in non-region volleyball action Tuesday at the Palladium. The Rams got past the Rabbits by virtue of a 15-13 win in the fifth and deciding set. The Rams won overall, 22-25, 25-22, 24-26 and 25-14.
MILFORD, Utah-The Milford Tigers topped Parowan with a three set sweep, 3-0 in non-region volleyball action Tuesday. The Tigers won 25-15, 25-12, 25-19.
Girls Tennis
Region 12
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats only lost one set as they beat Wasatch Academy 5-0 in Region 12 girls tennis action Tuesday. Richfield won in 1st singles with Sarah Utley 6-0, 6-0; Ellie Hair in 2nd singles 6-0, 6-0; Madison Lewis in 3rd singles 6-0, 6-0; 1st doubles with Marissa McIff and Piper Harris 6-0, 6-0; and Karsyn Harris and Aubrei Jorgensen 6-0, 6-1.
2A Fall Baseball (Non-UHSAA)
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Wasatch Academy scored seven runs in the final two innings, but it wasn’t enough as the Tigers lost to APA West Valley City 18-7 in five innings Tuesday in 2A fall baseball.
