CASTLE DALE, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats beat Emery 3-1 Thursday in Region 12 volleyball action. The Wildcats prevailed 25-17, 18-25, 27-25, 25-23.
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks swept the Juab Wasps 3-0 Thursday in Region 14 volleyball action. The Hawks won 25-23, 25-16, 25-18.
Region 19
MONROE, Utah-The South Sevier Rams topped Enterprise 3-1 Thursday in Region 19 volleyball action. The Rams topped the Wolves 16-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-23.
KANAB, Utah-The Kanab Lady Cowboys swept Beaver 3-0 Thursday in Region 19 volleyball action. The Cowboys won 25-16, 25-4, 25-17.
Girls Soccer
Region 14
MANTI, Utah-Brooklyn Scholes scored the lone goal of the game in the second half as the Union Cougars beat Manti 1-0 Thursday in Region 14 girls soccer action.
DELTA, Utah-Briley Peterson and Lydia Ence each scored as the North Sanpete Hawks beat Delta 2-1 in overtime Thursday in Region 14 girls soccer action. Kate Smith scored in the loss for the Rabbits.
2A South
PAROWAN, Utah-The Parowan Rams steamrolled Beaver 8-0 Thursday in 2A South girls soccer action.
FILLMORE, Utah-Kara Camp scored three goals and added three assists as the Millard Eagles shutout South Sevier 8-0 Thursday in 2A South girls soccer action. Camdyn Gamble earned the shutout in the net for the Eagles.
BLANDING, Utah-Josie Willden and Maria Gonzalez each scored as the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs doubled up San Juan 2-1 Thursday in 2A South region girls soccer action.
Baseball
1A South
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Jaxon Westwood went 3-4 at the plate with three RBI’s as the Piute Thunderbirds beat Valley 10-1 Thursday in 1A South Region baseball action. Daxon Morrill earned the win on the mound for the Thunderbirds. Ivan Spencer drove in a run in the loss for the Buffaloes.
Boys Golf
Region 12
FERRON, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats won a Region 12 tournament Thursday at Millsite Golf Course with a score of 290, beating second place Carbon’s 294. Emery came in third on their home course, followed by Grand and Canyon View.
Individually Carbon’s Bode Salas placed first with a 64. Richfield’s Gage Brower placed second with a 69, followed by his teammate Keaton Anderson’s 71. Grand’s Wyatt Toney placed fourth with a 72 and Richfield’s Jaygen Mullen rounded out the top five with a 73.
