PAYSON, Utah-Gage Yardley recorded 205 yards on 14 touches, including a rushing and receiving score while posting a sack, interception and two forced fumbles as the Richfield Wildcats pounded Payson 36-7 in non-region football play Friday. Griffin Wayman also tossed a pair of touchdown passes as well as an interception and Malik Fautin (7 rec, 90 yards, 2 TD’s) also excelled for the Wildcats in victory. In the loss, Trevyn Wall (23-45, 239 yards, TD, 2 INT’s) and David Fullmer (6 rec, 83 yards, TD) led Payson.

MANTI, Utah-Dallan Van Vliet threw two touchdown passes and the Grantsville Cowboys bested Manti 28-20 Friday in non-region football play. Jayden Atkinson added a pair of touchdown runs in victory for the Cowboys. Lane Cox returned a kickoff 80 yards for a score and Taula Taulapapa and Maison Starkweather ran for scores in the loss for the Templars.

MILFORD, Utah-Kiko Tsosie threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Tyce Barnes and the Milford Tigers hammered Millard 27-3 in non-region football play Friday. Kyzler Merryweather, Colton Barnes and Griffin Walker also ran for scores in the win for the Tigers. Sergio Arellano made a 25-yard field goal in the loss for the Eagles.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Maddox Madsen threw two touchdown passes and the North Sanpete Hawks surged past Delta 31-21 Friday in non-region football play. Madsen added a touchdown run in the win for North Sanpete and Taualua Laupapa had a touchdown run and a scoring reception in victory for the Hawks. Rafael Contreras connected on a 32-yard field goal attempt in the win for North Sanpete. Roper Crane ran for three scores in defeat for the Rabbits.

NEPHI, Utah-Price Armstrong threw three touchdown passes and the Juab Wasps hammered South Summit 41-9 in non-region football play Friday. Brock Richards and Jaden Heap each ran for a score in the win for Juab and Ethan Roundy made field goals of 40 and 25 yards for the Wasps in victory. Ian Mair scored on a 3-yard run and Oscar Dominguez made a 24-yard field goal in the loss for the Wildcats.

SALINA, Utah-Kanyon Okerlund ran for a pair of scores and the South Sevier Rams drilled North Sevier 35-22 Friday in non-region football play. Rylan Frischknecht threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Brody Bulloch in the loss for the Wolves.

KANAB, Utah-Jaiten Knight threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score as the San Juan Broncos overpowered Kanab 49-14 in non-region football play Friday. Hayden Gubler and Rider Allen ran for scores in defeat for the Cowboys.

BEAVER, Utah-Bodie Wheatley threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Beaver Beavers hammered Layton Christian 35-7 Friday in non-region football play. Andrew Hollingshead and Davin Orton added touchdown runs in the win for Beaver. Chris Monroe ran 16 yards for a score in defeat for the Eagles.

GUNNISON, Utah-JT Dowd ran for four scores and the Grand Red Devils doubled up Gunnison Valley 42-21 in non-region football play Friday. Braxton Pickett returned a kickoff 85 yards for a score and Broadie Brock and Daxton Knudsen added touchdown runs in the loss for the Bulldogs.

1A South

TROPIC, Utah-Traiger Ramsay drove in three runs and the Panguitch Bobcats edged Bryce Valley 8-7 Friday in 1A South baseball play. Remme Chappell, Taycen Ramsay and Camden Englestead also drove in a run apiece in the win for the Bobcats. Antonio Moreno homered in the loss for the Mustangs and Rocco Perez drove in a run in defeat for Bryce Valley.

ORDERVILLE, Utah-Nash Fautin and Braige Millett drove in two runs apiece and the Piute Thunderbirds waxed Valley 6-1 in 1A South baseball play Friday. Bodie Gayler added another RBI in victory for Piute. Blake Dalton recorded 14 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Thunderbirds.

BICKNELL, Utah-Blake Peterson posted four runs and the Wayne Badgers overpowered Green River 15-5 Friday in 1A South baseball play. Miles Hinkle drove in three more runs in the win for Wayne while Rigg Brinkerhoff, Hunter Robins and Braydon Lee drove in two more runs apiece in victory for the Badgers. RJ Pauu drove in another run in the win for Wayne. Peterson posted six strikeouts in 2.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Badgers.
