Walker Baird posted two strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Cowboys. Ryker Freeman drove in a run in the loss for the Rams. Kanab next faces No. 9 Grand in the state quarterfinals Thursday at 4:30 pm at Miller Park on the campus of Brigham Young University. Parker Staheli posted nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wolves. Braxton Pickett drove in a run in defeat for the Bulldogs.
