MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Connor Smith and Tate Reynolds each amassed hat tricks as the Waterford Ravens routed Wasatch Academy 8-0 Wednesday in Region 17 boys soccer action.

Baseball

Non-Region

FILLMORE, Utah-Conner Ingram tripled and doubled as the Juab Wasps routed Millard 15-3 in non-region baseball action Wednesday. Raidyn Steele and Tucker Memmott added doubles for the Wasps while Talon Mangelson earned the win on the mound for Juab. Slade Sheriff and Tyson Aburto doubled in the loss for the Eagles.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Kolton Petersen went yard and Janzen Kiesel added an RBI and 4.1 innings of successful pitching as the Gunnison Bulldogs routed the North Sanpete Hawks 11-1 in non-region baseball action Wednesday.

Softball

Region 15

MOAB, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats used a 12-run 6th inning to outgun Grand 15-14 Wednesday in the first game of a Region 15 softball doubleheader.

MOAB, Utah-Allie Torgerson went yard three times, but it wasn’t enough as the Grand Red Devils earned a split with Richfield in a Region 15 softball doubleheader with a 16-15 win Wednesday.

Girls Golf

Region 15

RICHFIELD, Utah-Richfield won the Region 15 golf tournament Wednesday at Cove View Golf Club in Richfield with a team score of 349. Emery finished second at 424 with San Juan third at 475. Grand finished fourth with a 480, Manti placed fifth with a score of 483, South Sevier took sixth at 492 and North Sanpete finished seventh at 564.

Individually Hayden Harris of Richfield took first with a 77. The Wildcats had four of the top six finishers as Natasha Oldroyd placed second with an 88, Piper Harris third with an 89 and Ellie Hair tied for fifth with a 95. Emery’s Lainee Jensen took fourth with a 91.
