ENTERPRISE, Utah-Steven Anzalone tripled, Andrew Bowler doubled and Hunter Tullis earned the win on the mound as the Enterprise Wolves edged Kanab 6-5 Tuesday in 2-A South baseball action. Enterprise secured the No. 3 seed in the region with the win and Kanab dropped to the No. 2 seed with the loss.
Region 15
RICHFIELD, Utah-Payson Reed doubled twice and Max Robinson took the win on the mound as the Richfield Wildcats hammered North Sanpete 15-3 in Region 15 baseball action Tuesday. Emmitt Hafen and Trey Roundy each added doubles for the Wildcats in the win. Richfield finished region play 12-0 as the No. 1 seed, while North Sanpete is tied for the No. 6 seed and will play Grand in a play-in game this week to try and make it to the state tournament.
Non-Region
MANTI, Utah-Caden Rigtrup went yard and the Summit Academy Bears hammered Manti 12-4 Tuesday in non-region baseball action. Mark Romero and Ren Perkins each added doubles in the win for the Bears. Adam Huff homered and Carson Lund and Trever Trythall each doubled in the loss for the Templars.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Trevor Brunson doubled and Tanner Eyre earned the win on the mound for the Cedar Reds as they blanked Gunnison Valley 6-0 in non-region baseball action Tuesday.
MONROE, Utah-Zach Sherwood posted 3 RBI and the Milford Tigers outlasted South Sevier 6-5 Tuesday in non-region baseball action. Heston Sullivan added a double and Bryson Barnes took the win on the mound for Milford. Tracen Winkle doubled in the loss for the Rams.
Softball
2-A South
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Kangie Bundy doubled and earned the win in the circle as Enterprise clobbered Kanab 15-0 in 2-A South softball action Tuesday.
Non-Region
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Aubree Ison homered twice and Addelyn Brotherson and Emma Wightman also homered as the North Sanpete Hawks routed Class 6-A Westlake 13-6 Tuesday in non-region softball action. Nakiah Taylor doubled and earned the win in ther circle for the Hawks. Halle Carpenter homered and doubled twice in the loss for the Thunder.
