Region 12

PRICE, Utah-Colton Lowe homered as the Carbon Dinos edged Richfield 5-4 Friday in Region 12 baseball play. Wyatt Falk posted 12 strikeouts in six innings to earn the win on the mound for the Dinos. Reggie Hafen, Hayden Reed and Fisher Jenson each drove in a run in the loss for the Wildcats.

Region 14

MANTI, Utah-The Union Cougars downed Manti 10-6 in Region 14 baseball play Friday. Bo Stevens homered in the loss for the Templars. Braxton Henningson, Bryce Boehrer, Reggie Frischknecht and Kayson Bailey also drove in a run apiece for Manti in defeat.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Cael Smith drove in three runs and the Juab Wasps hammered North Sanpete 14-1 Friday in Region 14 baseball play. Payton Park, Austin Park and Connor Cowan drove in two runs apiece in the rout for the Wasps. Cooper Ford, Wyatt Payton and Taylor Newton drove in an additional run apiece for Juab. Austin Park posted nine strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wasps. Maddex Bailey drove in a run in the loss for the Hawks.

2A South

PAROWAN, Utah-Taylor Dotson drove in a pair of runs and the Milford Tigers doubled up Parowan 4-2 in 2A South baseball action Friday. Tayton Sullivan’s three strikeouts in 6.1 innings earned him the win on the mound for the Tigers. Matt Townsend drove in a run for the Rams in the loss.

2A West

FILLMORE, Utah-The Millard Eagles edged Beaver 6-5 Friday in 2A West baseball play. Deegan Bailey drove in a pair of runs in the loss for the Beavers. Deegan Blackner added another RBI in defeat for the Beavers.

MONROE, Utah-The South Sevier Rams drilled North Sevier 12-4 in 2A West baseball play Friday.

Softball

Region 14

MANTI, Utah-Andilyn Anderson drove in a pair of runs and the Manti Templars routed Delta 11-1 Friday in Region 14 softball action. Elsey Olson, Cecily Alder, HayLee Daniels and Madison Scottorn each drove in an additional run apiece for Manti. Daniels posted two strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Templars. Kara Smith drove in a run in defeat for the Rabbits.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Bree Allred, Indigo North, Dally Bailey and Madyson Steadman each homered and the North Sanpete Hawks surged past Juab 14-4 in Region 14 softball play Friday. Katelyn Johnson recorded 13 strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Hawks.

2A Central

BICKNELL, Utah-Elise Dalley drove in five runs and the San Juan Broncos routed Wayne 23-5 Friday to complete a 2A Central softball doubleheader sweep of the Badgers. Trinity Whatcott earned her second win of the afternoon in the circle for the Broncos.

BICKNELL, Utah-Sadie Cosby and Averie Gilson drove in three runs apiece and the San Juan Broncos pounded Wayne 15-0 in the first game of a 2A Central softball doubleheader Friday. Trinity Whatcott posted eight strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Broncos.

SALINA, Utah-The South Sevier Rams got past North Sevier 10-8 in 2A Central softball play Friday. Kamryn Pierce, Dalli Wasden and Kaitlin Brown drove in two runs apiece in defeat for the Wolves. Paisley Roberts and Sydney Bosh also drove in a run apiece for North Sevier in the loss.

2A South

PAROWAN, Utah-Katlynn Matheson and Madison Adams homered as the Parowan Rams hammered Milford 13-3 Friday in 2A South softball play. Adams netted nine strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Rams.

KANAB, Utah-Kadee Harland and Kenli Hatch drove in three runs apiece and the Panguitch Bobcats and Kanab Lady Cowboys played to a 20-20 tie in 2A South softball play Friday. DJ Henrie drove in two more runs for Panguitch. Chanlee Owens, Janessa Heaton and Jocelyn Certonio drove in an additional run apiece for the Bobcats.

RICHFIELD, Utah-The No. 13 Richfield Wildcats doubled up No. 20 Summit Academy 2-1 in the first round of the 2A boys soccer playoffs Friday. The Wildcats next visit No. 4 Morgan Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.

GRANTSVILLE, Utah-The No. 15 Grantsville Cowboys blanked No. 18 North Sanpete 4-0 Friday in the first round of the 2A boys soccer playoffs. The Cowboys next visit No. 2 Juan Diego in the second round of the state playoffs Wednesday at 4:00 pm.

HERRIMAN, Utah-The No. 16 Providence Hall Patriots outlasted No. 17 South Summit 4-2 on penalty kicks Friday in the first round of the 2A boys soccer playoffs. The Patriots next visit No. 1 Ogden Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.

MOAB, Utah-The No. 14 Grand Red Devils routed No. 19 Union 6-1 in the first round of the 2A boys soccer playoffs Friday. The Red Devils next visit No. 3 Manti in the second round of the state playoffs Wednesday at 4:00 pm.
