MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Alan Argueta, Dominic Ramirez and Nathan Banza each scored as APA West Valley edged Wasatch Academy 3-2 Friday in Region 17 boys soccer action. Hai Trihn scored twice in the loss for the Tigers.

GUNNISON, Utah-Maddie Edwards went yard and Taylor Brackett added a pair of doubles as the Gunnison Bulldogs routed North Sevier 10-0 in 2-A Central softball action Friday.

Baseball

2-A South

KANAB, Utah-Drew Hafen doubled and Sam Orton took the win on the mound as the Kanab Cowboys bludgeoned Beaver 15-6 Friday in 2- A South baseball action. Alex Hollingshead and Crayton Hollingshead doubled in the loss for the Beavers.

MILFORD, Utah-Slade Sheriff homered and tripled, while the Millard Eagles downed Milford 7-2 in 2-A South baseball action Friday. Kaleb Rowell doubled in the win for the Eagles, with Carson Teeples earning the win on the mound, going the distance, for Millard.

Region 14

NEPHI, Utah-Cody Lowe and Nate Olson each doubled as the Carbon Dinos doubled up Juab 6-3 Friday in Region 14 baseball action. In the loss, Joey Aagard, Raidyn Steele and Spence Reynolds each doubled for the Wasps in the loss.

Region 15

MANTI, Utah-Adam Huff, Jace Miller and Trever Trythall each doubled as the Manti Templars stymied San Juan 9-5 Friday in the first game of a Region 15 doubleheader. Matt Nelson took the win on the mound for the Templars.

MANTI, Utah-Adam Huff earned the win on the mound as the Manti Templars completed a Region 15 baseball doubleheader sweep of San Juan with a 6-4 victory Friday.

Non-Region

KANAB, Utah-Keegan Eliason took the win on the mound as the North Sanpete Hawks waxed Morgan 7-2 Friday at Kanab High School in non-region baseball action.

CASTLE DALE, Utah-Jared Snow doubled, helping the Emery Spartans to a 7-2 win over North Sevier in non-region baseball action Friday. Rocky Bringhurst tripled and Shawn Sorensen doubled in the loss for the Wolves.
