Region 15

MANTI, Utah-Adam Huff went the distance on the mound, posting six strikeouts and the Manti Templars routed North Sanpete 10-0 Friday in Region 15 baseball action. Huff added a double and Conner Christiansen doubled and tripled in victory for Manti.

Non-Region

OREM, Utah-Camden Decker, Cole Brandner and Taylor Gill each doubled as the Orem Tigers doubled up Juab 2-1 in non-region baseball action Friday. Raidyn Steele homered and doubled in defeat for the Wasps.

Softball

2-A Central

GUNNISON, Utah-Kennedy Knudsen and Maddie Edwards each went yard and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs smacked Rockwell 21-0 in the first game of a 2-A Central softball doubleheader Friday. Gracy Christenson earned the win in the circle for the Bulldogs and also doubled in the rout. McKaylyn Edwards doubled and tripled for Gunnison Valley while Jaida King, Edwards and Paige King added doubles for the Bulldogs. Gunnison Valley posted 25 hits in the rout.

GUNNISON, Utah-Halle Bjerregaard doubled and earned the win in the circle as the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs completed a 2-A Central softball doubleheader sweep of Rockwell with a 15-0 rout of the Marshals Friday. Kennedy Knudsen homered for Gunnison Valley while Jaida King, Paige King and Tayler Brackett added doubles in victory for the Bulldogs.

Region 15

MANTI, Utah-Katie Larsen and Kiana Pogroszewski each homered as the Manti Templars outlasted the North Sanpete Hawks 6-5 in Region 15 softball action Friday. Brynlee Golding also doubled for the Templars in the victory. Kelby Henry went yard and Aubree Ison doubled in defeat for the Hawks.

SALT LAKE CITY-Charlie Retzer amassed a hat trick as the Rowland Hall-St. Mark’s Winged Lions hammered Wasatch Academy 8-2 Friday in Region 17 boys soccer action. Asaki Matsumoto and Avery Wade each scored for the Tigers in the loss.
