MANTI, Utah-Kiana Pogroszewski threw a no-hitter, doubled and had 2 RBI to lead Manti to a 10-0 win over San Juan in the first game of a Region 15 doubleheader Monday. Tyra Hermansen added a double and Jentry Young and Lexie Alder each tripled in the win for the Templars.

MANTI, Utah-Tyra Hermansen homered, tripled and recorded 4 RBI as the Manti Templars beat San Juan 11-1 in game two of a Region 15 doubleheader Monday. Tiffany Hermansen also homered and earned the win inside the circle for Manti. Kassidy Alder added a triple and Katie Larsen doubled in the win as the Templars earned the sweep over the Broncos.

Desert Hills Invitational

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Richfield had three girls finish in the top five, led by a second place finish from Hayden Harris, as the Wildcats won the Desert Hills Invitational with a team score of 329. Richfield beat the host Desert Hills by seven strokes as the Thunder shot a 336 at Sun River Golf Course in St. George. Bingham had the top two individuals but finished third as a team with a 344 and Copper Hills rounded out the field with a 378.

Individually Tess Blair from Bingham easily won with a 63, her teammate Carissa Graft and Richfield’s Hayden Harris tied for second with a 76. Robin Kim from Desert Hills shot a 78 for fourth place and there was a three-way tie for fifth place with Natasha Oldroyd and Ellie Hair from Richfield along with Abby Leitze from Desert Hills all shooting an 82.
