Region 12

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Trevin Park, Austin Park and Jimmy Larson drove in a run apiece and the Juab Wasps downed North Sanpete 5-1 Monday in Region 12 baseball play. Austin Park netted nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wasps. Tyson Guidos drove in a run in the loss for the Hawks.

2A East

GUNNISON, Utah-TaLund Zufelt drove in two runs and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs blanked Duchesne 3-0 in 2A East baseball play Monday. Daxton Knudsen drove in another run in victory for Gunnison Valley. Braxton Pickett recorded 12 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bulldogs.

2A South

PANGUITCH, Utah-Maggie Nappier drove in four runs and the Panguitch Bobcats pounded Water Canyon 21-3 Monday in the first game of a 2A South softball doubleheader. Katie Hatch drove in three more runs and Samantha Larsen added two more RBI in the win for the Bobcats. Zoie Fife, Hailey Bangerter, Olivia Jessop and Kayslee Clark drove in an additional run apiece in victory for Panguitch. Hatch posted five strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bobcats.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Olivia Jessop drove in five runs and the Panguitch Bobcats overpowered Water Canyon 21-6 to complete a 2A South softball doubleheader sweep of the Wildcats Monday. Hailee Yardley drove in three runs and Katie Hatch, Rhema Anderson, Hailey Bangerter and Kayslee Clark drove in another run apiece in the rout for the Bobcats. Zoie Fife pitched three innings to earn the win in the circle for Panguitch. Zaylie Holm, Sundae Holm, Leah Jeffs and Cerisha Williams drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Wildcats.
