Region 12

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Zach Maine and Kason Stoker drove in two runs apiece and the Canyon View Falcons soared past Manti 13-5 in Region 12 baseball play Friday. Jaxon Jensen posted eight strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Falcons. Lane Cox, Chase Keisel, Kayson Bailey, Britton Keisel and Tazj Hill drove in a run apiece in defeat for the Templars.

Softball

Region 12

CASTLE DALE, Utah-Mylee Cook and Dally Bailey drove in a pair of runs and the North Sanpete Hawks edged Emery 6-5 Friday in Region 12 softball play. Madyson Steadman and Ava Sunderland drove in an additional run apiece in victory for the Hawks. Katelyn Johnson earned the win in the circle for North Sanpete by posting eight strikeouts in five innings of work.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Gracie Burt belted a grand slam and the Canyon View Falcons pummeled Manti 16-5 in Region 12 softball play Friday. Hailee Sisk also homered in the win for Canyon View. Rylee Miller, Mara Thompson, Hannah Daniels and Raubie Johnson drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Templars.

2A Central

JUNCTION, Utah-Alayna Severe, Riyo Winckel and Kenadi King each drove in a run and the Piute Thunderbirds downed Monticello 14-0 Friday in the first game of a 2A Central softball doubleheader.

JUNCTION, Utah-Janey James drove in four runs and the Piute Thunderbirds completed a 2A Central softball doubleheader sweep of Monticello with a 14-1 win over the Buckaroos Friday. Riyo Winckel drove in another run in victory for Piute.

CASTLE DALE, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks doubled up Emery 2-1 Friday in Region 12 boys soccer play.
