Region 18
SALINA, Utah-Parx Bartholomew posted 13 points and 9 rebounds as the Gunnison Bulldogs outlasted North Sevier 51-48 in overtime in Region 18 boys basketball action Wednesday.
Janzen Keisel added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the win for the Bulldogs, as they improved to 10-10 and drew to an even 4-7 in Region 18 play with the Wolves.
Burke Mickelsen netted 19 points and 11 rebounds on 11-16 shooting for the Wolves while Fernando Elmer added 18 points and 6 rebounds for North Sevier in defeat, dropping them to 7-12 on the season.
Both the Bulldogs and Wolves have big games to conclude the regular season Friday as Gunnison visits Beaver and North Sevier hosts Millard.
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Ryan Holt netted 25 points as the Enterprise Wolves dismantled Kanab 69-52 Wednesday in Region 18 boys basketball action. Tyler Clark’s 14 points led the Cowboys in defeat.
BEAVER, Utah-Porter Wood stepped up with 17 points and 7 rebounds as the Parowan Rams overpowered Beaver 50-45 in Region 18 boys basketball action Wednesday. Ky Brown led the Beavers in the loss with 14 points.
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-Easton Wright posted 26 points on six 3-pointers as the Juab Wasps bludgeoned Maeser Prep 68-45 Wednesday in Region 14 boys basketball action. Grant Garner had 16 points for the Lions in defeat.
DELTA, Utah-Merrick Sherwood led the way with 20 points and the Providence Hall Patriots overpowered Delta 59-53 at the Palladium Wednesday. in Region 14 boys basketball action. Derek Smith led the Rabbits in the loss with 17 points.
Region 15
MONROE, Utah-Brandt Williams led the way with 15 points and the South Sevier Rams edged Manti 47-43 in Region 15 boys basketball action Wednesday. Mason Thompson posted 14 points for the Templars in the loss.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Joshua Thalman amassed 26 points and the Richfield Wildcats smacked North Sanpete 66-45 Wednesday in Region 15 boys basketball action. Jamal Mayoul netted 19 points in defeat for the Hawks.

Region 20
TROPIC, Utah-Karleen Roundy netted 15 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs routed Escalante 53-32 in Region 20 girls basketball action Wednesday. Lilly Steed had a game-high 16 points in the loss for the Moquis.
JUNCTION, Utah-Kiesa Miller stepped up with 16 points and the Panguitch Bobcats humbled Piute 42-37 Wednesday in Region 20 girls basketball action. Anna Wilde and Heidi Jensen had 8 points in defeat for the Thunderbirds.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Esther Cox amassed 25 points and five 3-pointers as the Valley Buffaloes pounded Water Canyon 59-40 in Region 20 girls basketball action Wednesday. Melissa Jessup led the Wildcats in defeat with 18 points.
