RICHFIELD, Utah-Wyatt Fabrizio posted 17 points and the Tabiona Tigers upset Valley 47-40 Thursday in the 1-A state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Gavin Hoyt had 10 points in defeat for the Buffaloes. The Tigers shot 87.1 percent (27-31) at the foul line to pull out the victory. Tabiona next plays in the 7:00 pm semifinal Friday at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Treyton Tebbs amassed 30 points and 7 rebounds on 10-15 shooting as the Bryce Valley Mustangs overpowered Manila 59-48 Thursday in the 1-A state boys quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Treyson Roberts added 16 points and 9 rebounds on 6-7 shooting for the Mustangs. Tanner Anderson had 16 points and 8 rebounds in the loss for Manila.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Acey Orton posted 23 points on 10-14 shooting as the Panguitch Bobcats waxed Monticello 57-44 Thursday in the 1-A state boys quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Kanyon Lamb had 18 points on 6 of 8 shooting as well for the Bobcats, who will next play in the 8:30 pm semifinal against Bryce Valley. Lucas Hatch had 19 points in the loss for the Buckaroos.
1-A Boys Consolation Bracket @ Richfield H.S.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Zach Sherwood led the way with 16 points and the Milford Tigers humbled Diamond Ranch 44-30, ending the Diamondbacks’ season, Thursday in the 1-A boys consolation bracket at Richfield High School. Davis Harrison had 11 points in the loss for the Diamondbacks. Milford next plays Water Canyon Friday at 2:30 pm in the consolation bracket at Richfield High School.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Wyatt Van Orden netted 13 points and the Wayne Badgers smacked Whitehorse 55-44 Thursday at Richfield High School in the 1-A boys consolation bracket. Wayne next plays at 1:00 pm Friday in the consolation bracket at Richfield High School against Piute.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Daan Filfred’s 14 points and 13 rebounds led the Whitehorse Raiders to a 39-33 win over the Bryce Valley Mustangs Thursday in the 1-A state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Brooklyn Syrett had 12 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Mustangs. Bryce Valley next plays Wayne in the second day loss bracket at 10:00 am Friday at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Brittney Henrie led the way with 19 points on 7 of 12 shooting and the Panguitch Bobcats routed Wayne 60-33 Thursday in the 1-A state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center. Brynnli Nelson had 14 points in the loss for the Badgers.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Jordyn Kennedy amassed 18 points on 7-9 shooting as the Piute Thunderbirds overpowered Monument Valley 64-54, upsetting the Cougars in the 1-A state girls quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center Thursday. Anna Wilde added 12 points and 7 rebounds and Vanessa Delgado netted 12 points and 6 rebounds on 5-7 shooting for the Thunderbirds, who next play Rich Friday at 5:30 pm in the state semifinals. Piute shot a torrid 57.1 percent for the game from the field. Erianne Cly had a game-high 25 points in the loss for the Cougars.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Saige Cox led the way with 13 points and the Valley Buffaloes pounded Tintic 55-33 in the 1-A state girls consolation bracket at Richfield High School Thursday. Lily Wall had 13 points in the loss for the Miners. Valley next plays Monticello at 11:30 am Friday in the consolation bracket at Richfield High School.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Madysen Griffiths netted 18 points and the Milford Tigers routed Manila 61-32 Thursday in the 1-A state girls consolation bracket at Richfield High School. Aspen Collett posted 20 points for the Mustangs in the loss. Milford next faces Tabiona Friday at 10:00 am at Richfield High School in the consolation bracket.
