CEDAR CITY, Utah-Carson Miles and Jace Farrow had 19 points apiece and the Canyon View Falcons bested Panguitch 66-55 Friday at the Hodson Cancer Classic. Cache Eyre’s 19 points led the Bobcats in defeat.
Cowboy Classic @ Kanab High School
KANAB, Utah-Blake Dalton led the way with 13 points and the Piute Thunderbirds pounded Beaver Dam (Ariz.) 71-19 Friday at the Cowboy Classic at Kanab High School.
KANAB, Utah-Cash Mortensen netted 18 points and the Kanab Cowboys hammered Wayne 62-42 at the Cowboy Classic Friday. Jake Batty’s game-high 22 points led the Badgers in the loss.
Smithfield Classic @ Beaver High School
BEAVER, Utah-Sadler Barnes stepped up with 23 points and 5 rebounds and the Milford Tigers got past Draper APA 61-50 at the Smithfield Classic Friday at Beaver High School.
BEAVER, Utah-Efren Delmuro netted 21 points and the Wendover Wildcats outgunned Beaver 76-70 Friday at Beaver High School at the Smithfield Classic. Baylor Blackburn led the Beavers in the loss with 20 points.
Non-Region
SALINA, Utah-Brace Brindley posted 21 points and 6 rebounds and the South Sevier Rams pummeled North Sevier 72-40 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Kade Johnson had 10 points for the Wolves in the loss.
HERRIMAN, Utah-Ty Warnick and Dawson McDermaid had 16 points apiece and the Providence Hall Patriots downed North Sanpete 59-56 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Ridge Hendry led the Hawks with 14 points in defeat.
FILLMORE, Utah-Zach Overly led the way with 16 points and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs bested Millard 60-53 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Derk Memmott led the Eagles in the loss with a game-high 17 points.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Kanzas Mills posted 13 points and the South Sevier Rams clipped Class 4A Stansbury 49-39 at the Hodson Cancer Classic Friday at Canyon View High School. Brooke Jensen led the Stallions with 11 points in defeat.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Tabetha Henrie led the way with 17 points and the Panguitch Bobcats pounded Wendover 53-33 Friday in non-region girls basketball play. Natalie Alvarez led the Wildcats in defeat with 9 points.
MANTI, Utah-Cadee Alder netted 13 points and the Manti Templars routed North Sevier 57-37 in non-region girls basketball play Friday. Brooklin Goble led the Wolves in defeat with 12 points.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Gentry Brown and Talia Alisa had 12 points apiece and the Beaver Beavers overpowered Class 4A Pine View 50-39 Friday in non-region girls basketball play. Reese Gustin and Charity Falaniko had 9 points apiece in the loss for the Panthers.
