SPANISH FORK, Utah-Norman Rentschler posted 18 points but Juab routed American Leadership 70-51 in Region 14 boys basketball action Wednesday.
Region 18
BEAVER, Utah-Ky Brown netted 12 points and 6 rebounds as Beaver outlasted Millard 41-37 Wednesday in Region 18 boys basketball action. Hayes Monroe had 15 points in the loss for the Eagles.
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Burke Mickelsen amassed 17 points and the North Sevier Wolves outlasted the Enterprise Wolves 49-46 in Region 18 boys basketball action Wednesday. Ryan Holt led Enterprise with 14 points in the loss.
KANAB, Utah-Porter Wood posted 24 points as the Parowan Rams bested Kanab 59-52 Wednesday in Region 18 boys basketball action. Derek Houston had 15 points in the loss for the Cowboys.
Region 20
PANGUITCH, Utah-Kanyon Lamb stepped up with 28 points and the Panguitch Bobcats downed Valley 47-41 in Region 20 boys basketball action Wednesday. Gavin Hoyt had 16 points in the loss for the Buffaloes.
Non-Region
GUNNISON, Utah-North Summit blew a close game open with a 26-8 run in the 4th Quarter as the North Summit Braves downed Gunnison 67-53 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Parker Brown posted 24 points and made all 10 of his free throws for the Braves, helping North Summit shoot 24 of 28 (85.7 percent) at the foul line. Quinton Jones added 21 points and 11 rebounds on 9 of 14 shooting for the Braves while Parx Bartholomew had 19 points in the loss for the Bulldogs. Gunnison stands at 5-3 on the season following this loss.
BICKNELL, Utah-Kevin Park stepped up with 16 points and the Grand Red Devils got past Wayne 67-48 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball action. Traven Peterson had 10 points in the loss for the Badgers.
LINDON, Utah-Scott Hatch led the way with 18 points and the North Sanpete Hawks tripped up Maeser Prep 59-46 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Aaron Gustaveson had 11 points in the loss for the Lions.
MILFORD, Utah-Quade Gleave netted 13 points and the Piute Thunderbirds overpowered Milford 55-26 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball action. Zach Sherwood had 11 points for the Tigers in defeat.
