RICHFIELD, Utah-Christian Winder posted 17 points and 6 rebounds on 6-10 from the field while making the game-winning layup as the Pinnacle Panthers edged Milford 41-39 Saturday during the 1-A preview at the Sevier Valley Center. Treyton Rose had 13 points and 6 rebounds on 4-8 shooting in the loss for the Tigers.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Pedro Alvarez netted 24 points, seven assists and four rebounds as the Wendover Wildcats waxed Valley 56-48 during the 1-A preview at the Sevier Valley Center Saturday. Gavin Hoyt’s 18 points and 10 rebounds led the Buffaloes in the loss.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Quayden Tebbs posted 14 points and Treyson Roberts added 12 points and 19 rebounds as the Bryce Valley Mustangs overpowered Tabiona 44-36 Saturday during the 1-A preview at the Sevier Valley Center. Sergio Vasquez netted 13 points and 6 rebounds for the Mustangs, who shot 81.5 percent at the foul line (22-27) to compensate for shooting 27.8 percent from the field. Kade Stewart’s 13 points and 9 rebounds led the Tigers in defeat.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Klynn Fullmer posted 14 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds on a perfect 7-7 from the field as the Panguitch Bobcats clobbered Intermountain Christian 64-31 during the 1-A preview at the Sevier Valley Center Saturday. The Bobcats shot 54.7 percent (29-53) from the field with Ryker Hatch posting 15 points on 6-10 from the field for Panguitch as well. Myles Simoncini netted 12 points in defeat for the Lions.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kelby Jessen amassed 22 points and 7 rebounds on 11-12 from the field as the Piute Thunderbirds decimated Green River 79-26 Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center during the 1-A preview. The Thunderbirds shot 50 percent from the field for the game by making 33 out of 66 field goal attempts. Alex Mendez had 8 points and 8 rebounds in the loss for the Pirates.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Cooper Snell netted 13 points, 11 rebounds and five assists as the Tintic Miners routed Wayne 49-28 at the Sevier Valley Center during the 1-A preview Saturday. Ethan Morrill had 13 points and 7 rebounds in defeat for the Badgers.
Non-Region
MONROE, Utah-Ethan Fielding posted 25 points and North Sevier edged South Sevier 64-63 in double overtime Saturday in non-region boys basketball action. Landen Payne’s 18 points and 8 rebounds led the Rams in the loss.
American Fork Elite Eight
AMERICAN FORK, Utah-Richard Isaacs led the way with 22 points and the Wasatch Academy Tigers edged Timpview 66-61 during the American Fork Elite Eight Saturday. Coleman Ford’s 17 points led the Thunderbirds in defeat.
Challenge At the Cliffs
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Hudson Hawes had 13 points and the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs pounded Richfield 60-38 Saturday during the Challenge at the Cliffs at Crimson Cliffs High School. Max Robinson’s game-high 15 points led the Wildcats in the loss.

Non-Region
GUNNISON, Utah-Rilee Dyreng posted 14 points and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs stymied ALA 47-40 in non-region girls basketball action Saturday. Tiffany Tervort had 16 points in the loss for the Eagles.
BICKNELL, Utah-Gracye Glover stepped up with 17 points and Kanab waxed Wayne 57-49 Saturday in non-region girls basketball action. AnDee VanDyke had 16 points to pace the Badgers in defeat.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Jannie Hoyt’s 14 points led the Valley Buffaloes to a narrow 46-43 win over Parowan in non-region girls basketball action. Kynlee Rowley had 9 points in the loss for the Rams.
