Championship Match

ROOSEVELT, Utah-The Valley Buffaloes downed Rich 3-1 at Union High School Saturday, earning the 1-A state volleyball championship. The Buffaloes prevailed 25-19, 26-24, 21-25 and 27-25 to earn their first volleyball state title since 1985. This is Valley’s third all-time state volleyball title (1984, 1985, 2020).

3rd-4th Place Match

ROOSEVELT, Utah-The Intermountain Christian Lions swept Panguitch 3-0, taking third place in the 1-A state volleyball tournament Saturday at Union High School. The Lions prevailed 25-16, 25-17, 25-20 to sweep the Bobcats.

5th-6th Place Match

ROOSEVELT, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds downed Wayne 3-0 Saturday at Union High School taking 5th place at the 1-A state tournament. The Thunderbirds prevailed 25-16, 25-15 and 28-26 to overpower the Badgers.
