3-A State Quarterfinals
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Carbon Dinos prevailed 3-1 over Juab Tuesday in the 3-A state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center. The Dinos prevailed 25-15, 25-16, 23-25 and 25-20 in the clincher. The Dinos next face Morgan in the 3-A state semifinals Wednesday at 12:00 pm. Juab faces North Sanpete in the consolation bracket this evening at 7:00 pm.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Morgan Trojans blanked North Sanpete 3-0 in the 3-A state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center Tuesday. The Trojans prevailed 25-13, 25-12 and 25-16 for the straight sets victory.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The South Summit Wildcats prevailed 3-1 over Richfield in the 3-A state quarterfinals at the Sevier Valley Center Tuesday. South Summit bested Richfield 20-25, 25-14, 25-13 and 25-13 to advance to the semifinals in the battle of the Wildcats. Richfield next faces Emery in the consolation bracket at 7:00 pm this evening.
Consolation Bracket
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Richield Wildcats swept Emery 3-0 Tuesday in the consolation bracket of the 3-A state volleyball tournament at the Sevier Valley Center. The Wildcats ended the Spartans’ season with wins of 26-24, 25-12 and 25-23 to net the straight sets victory. Richfield next faces North Sanpete for 5th-6th place Wednesday at 2:00 pm.
