RICHFIELD, Utah-Tambrie Tuttle amassed 24 points and the Emery Spartans blitzed Richfield 46-34 in Region 12 girls basketball action Thursday. Nicole Willardson and Rebecca Poulsen had 11 points apiece in defeat for the Wildcats.
MONROE, Utah-Janzie Jensen had 15 points and the Carbon Dinos knocked off South Sevier 48-35 in Region 12 girls basketball action. Presley Chappell scored 10 points in the loss for the Rams.
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-Jadee Dutson stepped up with 16 points and the Delta Rabbits drilled Juab 41-28 in Region 14 girls basketball action Thursday. Hallie Worwood’s 13 points led the Wasps in the loss.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Katie Larsen and Heidi Jorgenson had 12 points apiece and the Manti Templars routed American Leadership 61-26 Thursday in Region 14 girls basketball action. Alexis Webster netted 9 points in defeat for the Eagles.
ROOSEVELT, Utah-Riley Richards scored 10 points to lead Union to a 48-28 win over North Sanpete in Region 14 girls basketball action Thursday. Tylee Henrie had 10 points in the loss for the Hawks.
Region 20
BICKNELL, Utah-Abby Stevens posted 18 points and the Wayne Badgers gashed Bryce Valley 51-44 in Region 20 girls basketball action Thursday. Brooklyn Syrett netted 23 points in defeat for the Mustangs.
MILFORD, Utah-Jannie Hoyt led the way with 24 points and the Valley Buffaloes downed Milford 59-56 in Region 20 girls basketball action Thursday. Analise Wiseman and Tayleah Spaulding had 12 points apiece for the Tigers in the loss.
ESCALANTE, Utah-Mikki Prows netted 12 points and the Escalante Moquis edged Water Canyon 41-39 Thursday in Region 20 girls basketball action. Shana Barlow had 12 points in defeat for the Wildcats.
Non-Region
SALINA, Utah-Avery Brown had 18 points and the Beaver Beavers drilled North Sevier 58-40 Thursday in non-region girls basketball action. Mila Torgerson’s 13 points led the Wolves in defeat.
Wrestling
BEAVER, Utah-The Millard Eagles dominated South Sevier 70-9 at a tri wrestling event in Beaver. Camden Moat, Sam Rasmussen, Conner Hem, Trayton Teeples, KC Whitaker, Danny Garcia and Zech DeHerrera all earned pins for the Eagles. Mason Gardner had a pin for the Rams in the loss.
BEAVER, Utah-The Beaver Beavers won its match over Millard 41-23 Thursday at a tri wrestling event in Beaver. Hagen Mayer, Carson Reynolds, Brian Evans, and Kyler Boren earned pins for Beaver. Millard was led by Jed DeGraffenreid and Danny Garcia with pins. In the biggest match of the night Millard’s Camden Moat earned a major decision 13-3 win over Beaver’s Tavyn Hollingshead.
BEAVER, Utah-Beaver won all but two matches in a dominant performance over the South Sevier Rams at a tri wrestling event in Beaver.
DELTA, Utah-The Delta Rabbits earned a dual win over Union 41-30 Thursday in Delta. The Rabbits were led by Taelyr Gray, Cesar Gonzalez, Samuel LeBaron, Brandon Dutson and Jake Nickel all with pins in the victory. Union had four pins in the loss.
