BLANDING, Utah-Randall Flavel led the way with 22 points and the San Juan Broncos outgunned Manti 96-94 in overtime Saturday in Region 15 boys basketball action. Adam Huff netted a game-high 31 points in the loss for the Templars.
Region 20
PANGUITCH, Utah-Acey Orton stepped up with 28 points and the Panguitch Bobcats hammered Diamond Ranch 77-42 in Region 20 boys basketball action Saturday. Davis Harrison had 23 points in the loss for the Diamondbacks.
Non-Region
TROPIC, Utah-Sergio Vasquez netted 19 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs humbled Wayne 58-49 Saturday in non-region boys basketball action. Garrett Chappell had 16 points in the loss for the Badgers.
Girls Basketball
Region 15
MANTI, Utah-Delaney Palmer’s 20 points led the way and the San Juan Broncos routed Manti 65-32 in Region 15 girls basketball action Saturday. Katie Larsen had 11 points to pace the Templars in the loss.
Non-Region
TROPIC, Utah-Brynnli Nelson amassed 18 points and the Wayne Badgers routed Bryce Valley 42-23 Saturday in non-region girls basketball action. Madison Syrett had 8 points in the loss for the Mustangs.
