Region 15

MANTI, Utah-Mason Thompson netted 20 points, including six 3-pointers as the Manti Templars overpowered Grand 82-68 Saturday in Region 15 boys basketball action. Nolan Ramirez had 22 points for the Red Devils in the loss.

Non-Region

ESCALANTE, Utah-Bracken Lyman and Chacen Steed had 17 points apiece and the Escalante Moquis edged Dugway 47-44 in non-region boys basketball action Saturday. T.J. Ramos led the Mustangs in defeat with 10 points.

Girls Basketball

Region 15

MOAB, Utah-Hannah Owen netted 17 points and the Grand Red Devils edged Manti 50-48 Saturday in Region 15 girls basketball action. Ashton Wood led the Templars in the loss with 12 points.

Region 20

PANGUITCH, Utah-Kapri Orton posted 22 points and Brittney Henrie amassed 19 points and 11 assists as the Panguitch Bobcats pounded Water Canyon 83-37 in Region 20 girls basketball action Saturday. Melissa Jessup had 19 points in the loss for the Wildcats.
