MONTVERDE, Fla.-Mady Sissoko netted 19 points and 13 rebounds as the Wasatch Academy Tigers routed Village Christian (Calif.) 85-65 Thursday at the Montverde Invitational. Mike Saunders added 16 points and nine assists in the win for the Tigers.

CASTLE DALE, Utah-No. 1 Emery jumped out to the early lead en route to a 69-51 win over fourth-ranked Richfield in Region 15 play Thursday. Kacelynn Toomer led the way with 23 points for the Spartans, while Alexa Lord led the Wildcats with 17 points in the loss.
Region 18
KANAB, Utah-Jessi Anderson posted 22 points and Kanab downed Millard 62-52 in Region 18 girls basketball action Thursday. Megan Wade posted 20 points for the Eagles in defeat.
BEAVER, Utah-Sydnee Gillins stepped up with 16 points and the Beaver Beavers clobbered North Sevier 51-34 Thursday in Region 18 girls basketball action. Brinley Mason had 19 points in the loss for the Wolves.
Region 20
JUNCTION, Utah-Emri Roberts netted 14 points and the Piute Thunderbirds hammered Escalante 59-27 in Region 20 girls basketball action Thursday. Caitllyn Lyman posted 13 points for the Moquis in defeat.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Mataya Barney led the way with 17 points and 13 rebounds as the Panguitch Bobcats downed Valley 53-46 Thursday in Region 20 girls basketball action.
TROPIC, Utah-Brooklyn Syrett posted 19 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs bested Water Canyon 48-37 in Region 20 girls basketball action Thursday. Melissa Jessup had 13 points in the loss for the Wildcats.

Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-The top-ranked Juab Wasps pulled away in the final matches to beat No. 2 Delta 45-29 in wrestling action Thursday. Juab had five wrestlers record pins: Keaton Sperry at 106 pounds, Channing Warner at 120, Conner Ingram at 126, Cade Bowring at 145, and Rylan Watts at 182. The Rabbits had three wrestlers get pins: Kurtis Nielson at 138 pounds, Brandon Dutson at 170, and Blake Green at 285.
Region 15
MONROE, Utah-South Sevier came from behind to beat Richfield 45-31 in Region 15 wrestling Thursday. The Rams had five pins in the match: Weston Amos at 120 pounds, Triston Fillmore at 138, Jett High at 145, Wyatt Morrison at 195 and Kemmer Jones at 285. Richfield had four pins in the loss: Ethan Udy at 106 pounds, Denim Torgerson at 113, Dakota Curtis at 126, and Aidan Ortiz at 220.
