Boys Basketball

Region 12

MONROE, Utah-Dallin Stewart netted 19 points and 6 rebounds as the Richfield Wildcats routed South Sevier 54-37 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball action. Carter Peterson’s 16 points led the Rams in the loss.

Region 14

MANTI, Utah-Tanner Justesen posted 15 points and 7 rebounds and Austin Cox added 15 more points as the Manti Templars outlasted North Sanpete 60-58 in Region 14 boys basketball action Friday. Brady Jacobson’s 17 points on 5-8 from the field led the Hawks in the loss.

The Templars improved to 12-3 and 7-0 in Region 14 play with the win. North Sanpete fell to 10-5 and 4-2 in Region 14 play in defeat. Both of the Hawks’ losses in region play have come to the Templars.

Manti returns to action Wednesday as they host Juab while North Sanpete is next in action Wednesday by hosting Maeser Prep with Region 14 play ensuing for both squads.

NEPHI, Utah-Brendan Allred stepped up with 22 points, including four 3-pointers, ad the Juab Wasps decimated Maeser Prep 83-34 in Region 14 boys basketball action Friday. Adam Cho had 11 points in defeat for the Lions.

Region 16

COALVILLE, Utah-Wade Morrill amassed 22 points and the North Summit Braves gashed Gunnison Valley 71-60 Friday in Region 16 boys basketball action. Janzen Keisel had a game-high 24 points in defeat for the Bulldogs.

Region 18

FILLMORE, Utah-The Kanab Cowboys outlasted Millard 62-58 in Region 18 boys basketball action Friday. Hunter Rhodes had a game-high 18 points in defeat for the Eagles.

PAROWAN, Utah-Krue Stubbs netted 14 points and the Parowan Rams edged Beaver 37-35 in Region 18 boys basketball action Friday. Conner Crum’s 12 points led the Beavers in the loss.

Region 20

TROPIC, Utah-Sergio Vasquez led the way with 15 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs bested Panguitch 42-36 Friday in Region 20 boys basketball action. Paxton Wolfley had 15 points for the Bobcats in defeat.

Girls Basketball

Non-Region

DUCHESNE, Utah-Oakley Butler posted 10 points and the Duchesne Eagles gashed Wasatch Academy 39-23 in non-region girls basketball action Friday. Nataly Dunka had 11 points in the loss for the Tigers.
