Region 14

DELTA, Utah-Austin Cox netted 15 points and 5-10 from the field as the Manti Templars routed Delta 59-39 Wednesday at the Palladium in Region 14 boys basketball action. Tanner Justesen added 13 points and 5 rebounds for the Templars, who improved to 11-3 and 6-0 in Region 14 play.

Austin Topham posted 10 points and 12 rebounds in the loss for the Rabbits, who fell to 2-9 and 1-3 in Region 14 play.

The Rabbits are back in action at the Palladium Thursday as they host Juab. This is a reschedule for the January 8 game that had to be postponed because of the Wasps’ covid issues earlier in the season.

Manti returns to action Friday to host North Sanpete as the Region 14 season ensues for both squads.

NEPHI, Utah-Brendan Allred posted 19 points and Ty Allred added 18 more as the Juab Wasps surged past American Leadership 66-39 in Region 14 boys basketball action Wednesday. Caden Reichner led the Eagles in the loss with 16 points.

GUNNISON, Utah-Janzen Keisel amassed 20 points and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs clipped North Sevier 61-43 Wednesday in Region 16 boys basketball action. Marshall Okerlund had 16 points for the Wolves in defeat.

Region 18

KANAB, Utah-Kason Janes netted 17 points and the Kanab Cowboys edged Parowan 47-44 in Region 18 boys basketball action Wednesday. Krue Stubbs had 16 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Rams.

ENTERPRISE, Utah-Tyler Hiatt stepped up with 21 points as the Enterprise Wolves waxed Millard 68-51 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. James Stephenson led the Eagles in the loss with 17 points.

Region 20

PANGUITCH, Utah-Tuhker Chappell posted 9 points and the Panguitch Bobcats routed Milford 42-20 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball action. Treyton Rose had a game-high 10 points in the loss  for the Tigers.

JUNCTION, Utah-Kelby Jessen netted 24 points and the Piute Thunderbirds pounded Diamond Ranch 83-54 in Region 20 boys basketball action Wednesday. Wyatt Toombs had 20 points for the Diamondbacks in defeat.

Non-Region

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Landon Milne led the way with 12 points and the North Sanpete Hawks edged South Sevier 49-48 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Emilio Miramontes amassed 18 points and 11 rebounds in defeat for the Rams.

Wrestling

BEAVER, Utah-The Beaver Beavers dominated Delta 43-27 on Senior Night in a non-region wrestling dual. Beaver had three wrestlers earn pins in the win with Tavyn Hollingshead, Russell Evans and Dylan Bartlett. Delta had pins from Josh Jackson, Austin Chase, Brandon Dutson and Angel Rodriguez.

FILLMORE, Utah-The Millard Eagles flew past North Sevier 45-33 in a non-region dual Wednesday. Millard had pins from Christian Dela Cruz, Kyle Mitchell, Josh Vang, Morgan Wade, KC Whitaker, John Gates and Jed Degraffenreid. North Sevier had one pin from Slade Mickelsen in the loss.
