Region 20

BICKNELL, Utah-Schade Torgerson posted 18 points and Bridger Brian added 16 more as the Wayne Badgers smacked Diamond Ranch 58-43 Thursday in Region 20 boys basketball action. Ben Killebrew’s 12 points led the Diamondbacks in the loss.

JUNCTION, Utah-Quade Gleave’s 20 points led the way as the Piute Thunderbirds surged past Milford 70-58 in Region 20 boys basketball action Thursday. Zach Sherwood had a game-high 26 points in the loss for the Tigers.

ORDERVILLE, Utah-Gavin Hoyt stepped up with 17 points and the Valley Buffaloes edged Panguitch 39-36 Thursday in Region 20 boys basketball action. Paxton Wolfley had 11 points to lead the Bobcats in defeat.

Girls Basketball

Non-Region

GUNNISON, Utah-Kennedi Knudsen netted 14 points and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs pummeled Rockwell 58-13 Thursday in non-region girls basketball action. Skiley Cluff had 6 points in the loss for the Marshals.

DELTA, Utah-The South Sevier Rams smacked Delta 50-35 in  non-region girls basketball action Thursday at the Palladium.

Wrestling

Region 14

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The Juab Wasps earned eight pins as they routed North Sanpete 65-7 in a Region 14 wrestling dual Thursday. Winning by pin for the Wasps were: Kaden Ercanbrack, Conner Ingram, Chase Ingram, Cade Bowring, Will Harmon, Rylan Watts, Blake Mangelson, and Shan Jackson. North Sanpete’s best win came at 170 pounds as Luis Rodriguez earned a major decision win.
