NEPHI, Utah-Grady Thompson posted 13 points and the Manti Templars waxed Juab 54-40 Friday in Region 14 boys basketball action. The Templars overcame a 14-40 shooting performance by shooting 20-24 (83.3 percent) at the foul line to improve to 16-1 and 7-0 in Region 14 play. Kollin Robertson posted 13 points and 9 rebounds in the loss for the Wasps, who fell to 6-10 and 3-4 in Region 14 action.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Jonah Larsen led the way with 20 points and the American Leadership Eagles edged Delta 54-53 in Region 14 boys basketball action Friday. Derek Smith’s 29 points led the Rabbits in defeat.

LINDON, Utah-Landon Bowles netted 16 points and 9 rebounds as the North Sanpete Hawks smacked Maeser Prep 65-51 Friday in Region 14 boys basketball action. Hugh Jackson’s 25 points led the Lions in the loss.

Region 12

RICHFIELD, Utah-Josh Thalman amassed 25 points as the Richfield Wildcats pounded South Sevier 55-34 in Region 12 boys basketball action Friday. Brandt Williams had 20 points and 5 rebounds for the Rams in defeat.

Region 16

ALTAMONT, Utah-Makovey Jessen stepped up with 17 points and the Altamont Longhorns edged North Sevier 57-55 in double overtime Friday in Region 16 boys basketball action. Burke Mickelsen’s 24 points led the Wolves in the loss.

GUNNISON, Utah-Harley Hill posted 18 points, all of which came on 3-pointers as he made 6 on the evening as the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs downed North Summit 58-55 in Region 16 boys basketball action Friday. Alec Hunsaker had 14 points in defeat for the Braves.

Region 18

BEAVER, Utah-Tyler Hiatt’s 17 points led the way as the Enterprise Wolves stymied Beaver 50-41 Friday in Region 18 boys basketball action.

FILLMORE, Utah-Krue Stubbs netted 25 points and 5 rebounds as the Parowan Rams gashed Millard 59-40 in Region 18 boys basketball action Friday. Brooks Myers led the Eagles in defeat with 16 points.

Region 16

ALTAMONT, Utah-Gracey Gardner’s 10 points led the Altamont Longhorns to a 33-31 win over North Sevier Friday in Region 16 girls basketball action. Kamree Brunson’s 12 points led the Wolves in defeat.

Region 20

JUNCTION, Utah-Heidi Jensen’s 22 points paced the Piute Thunderbirds in a 59-56 win over Milford in Region 20 girls basketball action Friday. Jaycee Rose and Madysen Griffiths posted 16 points apiece for the Tigers in the loss.

ESCALANTE, Utah-Oakley Johnson stepped up with 15 points as the Bryce Valley Mustangs routed Escalante 38-17 Friday in Region 20 girls basketball action. Mikki Prows had 6 points in the loss for the Moquis.

BICKNELL, Utah-Mataya Barney netted 19 points and the Panguitch Bobcats edged Wayne 54-52 in Region 20 girls basketball action Friday. Hannah Williams led the Badgers in defeat with 26 points.

HILDALE, Utah-The Valley Buffaloes stampeded Water Canyon 60-40 Friday in Region 20 girls basketball action.
