EPHRAIM, Utah- Snow College freshman Lydia Montague has been named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week after helping lead the No. 11 Badgers to a 9-1 start to the season. Montague currently ranks 13th in the nation with 100 kills on the season, averaging 2.68 kills per set. The Lehi, Utah (Lehi HS) native has recorded four matches with 13 or more kills, including a season-high 21 kills against Eastern Arizona, 17 against 10th-ranked (D-II) Glendale, 14 against Otero and 13 against No. 9 Laramie County.

The 6-1 middle blocker has posted a hitting percentage of .431 and currently ranks No. 2 in the nation for attackers with 180 or more attempts. Montague was credited with 21 kills on 29 attempts for a season-high .655 hitting percentage in the Badgers’ 3-1 win over Eastern Arizona on Aug. 24.
