Little Earns Pac-12 Honors

SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, Utah men’s tennis standout Dan Little received a postseason honor from the Pac-12 conference for the second consecutive year.

Little received honorable mention after finishing as the Utes’ highest ranked singles player (#2 in the region, #80 nationally). He was joined by fellow Ute David Micevski and Slim Hanza as the only Utes’ male tennis student-athletes to earn multiple postseason accolades from the Pac-12.

Little netted eight victories against opponents from nationally-ranked foes and finished 7-7 in singles play this season as he primarily competed at the top of the lineup.

His greatest attainment in the non-conference portion of the season was highlighted by a win over #33 Jean Thirouin of Harvard.

In Pac-12 play, his greatest victory was over #21 Michael Geerts of #38 Arizona State.

Little went 13-9 in doubles play this season while he and partner Azat Hankuliyev vanquished foes from #32 Oregon and #58 Arizona, respectively.
