(Salt Lake City, UT) — A group of Utah Jazz fans are petitioning for a statue to be built of former head coach Jerry Sloan.

A petition has already been started on change.com.

The 77-year-old coach is in failing health as he deals with dementia and Parkinson’s disease. He guided the Jazz to their only two NBA Finals appearances in 1997 and 1998.
