LAS VEGAS (AP) — Brandon Horvath had 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead five Utah State players in double figures as the Aggies romped past Air Force 83-56 in the first round of the Mountain West Conference tournament.

Justin Bean added 16 points for the Aggies on Wednesday.

Joseph Octave led the Falcons with a career-high 21 points.

The No. 7 seed Aggies advance to play second-seeded Colorado State in the quarterfinals Thursday at 7:00 PM.
