ST. GEORGE, Utah-Monday, Dixie State women’s basketball signed former Panguitch High School girls basketball star Chesney Stevens for the 2019-2020 season.
Stevens comes to the Trailblazers from fellow NCAA Division II school Florida Southern.
She averaged 4.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per game for the Mocs, while shooting 46.4 percent from the field and made 41.9 percent of her 3-point shots while playing a role in leading the squad to the NCAA Division II Sweet 16.
Stevens also played two seasons at the College of Southern Idaho, netting 6.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game and posting 23 blocks as a sophomore during the 2017-18 season for the Golden Eagles.
While starring at Panguitch High School, Stevens, then known as Chesley Campbell, was a three-sport first-team honoree for the Bobcats.
