PROVO, Utah-Saturday morning, the East Bay Golf Course of Provo hosted the West Coast Conference cross country championships with a former Millard High star showing well for the BYU women’s squad.

Anna Camp, a former state champion distance runner for the Eagles, placed 10th overall in a time of 21:16.00 for the Cougars Saturday as BYU posted a score of 27.

Her teammate, Erica Birk, a former North Summit star, won the individual title in a time of 19:45.60, while six Cougar women posted in the top 10 overall.

The BYU men also took the team title, posting a score of 21. The individual champion for the men was Portland’s Nick Hauger in a time of 23:20.80.
