JURUPA VALLEY, Calif.-Tuesday, Dixie State golf sophomore Davis Heslington, a former Beaver High School star, competed at The Joust at Goose Creek. Heslington has a score of 149 presently.
Heslington is tied for 43rd with UCLA sophomore Rory Feng, California Baptist junior Dan Heron and his teammate, junior Ryan Monsalve, Heslington’s teammate, sophomore Tristan Gardner, Omaha freshman Josh Bartels and La Verne freshman Zane Mularski.
The Trailblazers are in 10th place, led by junior Brock Nielson (146), freshman Aman Uddin (146), followed by Heslington and Gardner. Junior Spencer Wallace (150) is at the bottom of Dixie State’s team standings.
Pepperdine senior Joshua McCarthy is the overall individual leader with a score of 139.
The Omaha Mavericks are the overall team leaders with a score of 564. Thai national, senior Witchayapat Sinsrang (136), freshman Josh Peters (140), senior Nick Kagy (142), Bartels (149) and Thai national, freshman Phoomintr Kaewvichien (163) all are representing the Mavericks.
