Drew Roper Competes At Idaho Duals For Dixie State Swimming

MOSCOW, Idaho-Saturday, Dixie State women’s swimming competed at the Idaho Dual, falling 178-110 to the Vandals at the UI Swim Center.

Sophomore Drew Roper, a former Millard High School star, competed in several events for the Trailblazers.

Roper swam the first leg of Dixie State’s C Team women’s 200-yard medley relay. The team swam in a time of 1:49.91.

Roper was joined in this relay by freshman free/fly/breast medley relay competitor Skyler Lyon, sophomore free/fly competitor Chloe Partsch and junior free/back/relays competitor McKenzie Chesler.

She finished fifth in the women’s 100-yard backstroke (59.68) and 200-yard backstroke (2:09.56) respectively.

Dixie State is next in action February 17-20 at the WAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships at St. George.
