Dixie State Men’s Basketball Falls To Colorado School of Mines

GOLDEN, Colo.-Mason Baker posted 23 points and 5 assists as the Colorado School of Mines routed Dixie State 93-75 Saturday at Lockridge Arena in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men’s basketball action.

Austin Means added 14 points on 3 of 3 shooting for the Orediggers, who shot 51.7 percent for the game in improving to 10-3 and 7-0 in conference play.

Matt Conway’s 21 points on 8 of 13 from the field led the Trailblazers in defeat. Incidentally, Dixie State shot 59.1 percent for the game despite falling to 4-7 and 2-5 in league play.

The Trailblazers return to action Friday at Burns Arena as they host the Metro State Roadrunners.
