ST. GEORGE, Utah-Late Wednesday, Dixie State men’s basketball added two more student-athletes to the roster.
These new Trailblazers include junior college transfer Zubair Seyed and Northwest Nazarene transfer David Nelson.
Nelson is a 6-6 190-pound guard/forward who starred at Salem Hills High School and averaged 7.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game while shooting just under 45 percent from the field for the fellow NCAA Division II Skyhawks last season.
Seyed is a 6-foot 160-pound guard out of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada who averaged 8.3 points and 3.7 assists last season at Daytona (Fla.) State College, whom Trailblazers head coach Jon Judkins calls “a playmaker.”
