ST. GEORGE, Utah-Kahi Hirano posted 2 RBI, helping the Saint Martin’s Saints to a 5-3 victory over Dixie State Sunday in the first game of a doubleheader Sunday at Bruce Hurst Field.

Tanner Inouye earned the win on the moun for the Saints to improve to 1-0 on the season.

The Trailblazers improved to 3-1 with a win in the second game, prevailing 10-5.

Braden Stutzman posted 4 RBI in the win for Dixie State.

Brayden Bonner took the win on the mound for the Trailblazers in this one.

Dixie State returns to action Thursday at Northwest Nazarene at 6:00 pm at Bruce Hurst Field.

The Trailblazers will also host the Nighthawks Friday at 11:30 am
