Delta’s Girls Win Team Title At Day 2 of Snow Canyon Invitational

ST. GEORGE, Utah-In what is officially the final UHSAA-sanctioned event for Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network schools and student-athletes, numerous athletes from our schools excelled at Day 2 of the Snow Canyon Invitational track and field meet.

The Delta girls won the team title with 70 points. Millard’s girls placed 14th with 23 points. Beaver and Dixie tied for 17th place with 10 points apiece. North Sevier finished 21st with 7 points and Milford placed 23rd with 4 poits.

For the boys, Pine View took the team title with 69 points. Beaver placed 7th with 40 points. Delta finished 16th with 17 points. Millard placed 18th with 15 points. Milford tied Enterprise for 26th with 6 points apiece for the Tigers and Wolves. North Sevier finished 28th with 5 points and South Sevier tied Davis for 29th with 1 point apiece for the Rams and Darts.

In the girls’ medley relay, Millard took the title (4:31.02). The Eagles were represented by Kadence Koyle, Oakley King, Katy Kelly and Ember Moat. Delta finished third (5:03.20) and North Sevier placed fourth (5:52.01).

In the boys’ medley relay, Millard also earned the crown (3:56.32). The Eagles who won the title were Sam Marshall, Brant Stevens, Nathan Despain and Kael Myers.

Delta placed second (3:57.17), Beaver finished third (3:59.69) and North Sevier placed fourth (4:07.69).

In the girls’ 3200-meter run, Canyon Corner’s Lexi Larsen (11:12.70) took the title. Millard’s Ember Moat placed 27th (12:28.68) and Paige Curtis of Delta finished 35th (12:45.71).

Beaver’s Chloe Hodges placed 43rd (13:17.87) and Millard’s Imogene Cazares (13:54.96) finished 48th.

Myanna Vasquez of Beaver finished 52nd (17:21.12) and North Sevier’s Makele Neuberger placed 53rd (20:16.02).

In the boys’ 3200-meter run, Skyline’s Thomas Boyden took the crown (8:50.65).

Millard’s Michael Ralphs (10:39.57) and Camden Moat (10:39.97) finished 40th and 41st respectively.

Keaton Hallows of North Sevier (11:00.33) finished 48th and his teammate, Kelby Bosh, (11:19.56) finished 58th.

Evan Bell of Millard (12:07.09) finished 62nd and his teammate, Zach Rawlins (12:22.19) placed 64th. North Sevier’s Gavin Baxter placed 66th (14:08.31).

Darcy Jackson of Snow Canyon took the girls’ 100-meter hurdles title (14.52). Delta’s Savannah Nielson placed sixth (16.28).

Dixie’s Spencer Carlile earned the boys’ 110-meter hurdles crown (15.01). and Sarah Ballard of Lehi took the girls’ 100-meter dash crown (12.45).

Braiden Ivie of Emery took the boys’ 100-meter dash title (10.82).

The Delta girls took the 4 x 100 meter relay title (50.66). The Rabbits were represented by Jordyn Nielson, Savannah Nielson, Adi Nielson and Megan Atkinson. Millard placed 12th (56.96) and South Sevier finished 13th (1:00.00).

The Pine View boys won the 4 x 100 meter relay crown (43.70). Delta placed 10th (46.91), Beaver finished 15th (49.27) and South Sevier placed 16th (50.23).

Brilee Pontius of Westlake (56.82) took the girls’ 400-meter dash title. Delta’s Adi Nielson (57.31) finished second and Kara Camp of Millard placed 4th (1:01.06).

Park City’s Paul Baynes (49.51) won the boys’ 400-meter dash title. Oran Finlinson of Delta (52.00) placed seventh.

Adi Nielson of Delta earned the girls’ 300-meter hurdles title (45.08). Aliza Woolsey of Milford (49.59) finished sixth.

Dixie’s Spencer Carlile swept each hurdle crown, taking the 300-meter hurdles title (38.95) as well.

The Skyridge girls won the 4 x 200 meter relay  title (1:49.53). The Falcons were represented by Regan Morris, Bailey Kearns, Bailee Hanson and Rachel Foster.

Pine View’s boys took the 4 x 200 meter relay crown (1:32.01) as the Panthers were represented by Sherm Jensen, Marcus McKenzie, Izaiah Moten and Dominique McKenzie. Beaver placed 10th (1:51.48).

Hope Preston of Davis (2:17.38) won the girls’ 800-meter run title. Kinley Spaulding of Milford (2:29.40) placed 13th. Audrey Camp of Millard (2:30.40) finished 16th. Delta’s Paige Curtis (2:41.86) finished 45th and Whytney Stoddard of Milford (2:43.14) finished 49th.

Akaydeh Livingston of Milford (2:46.87) finished 57th and Brynnleigh Goodwin of Delta (2:48.75) placed 59th.

Aimee Thurman of Millard (2:49.89) finished 62nd and Nakomie Yardley of Beaver (2:51.22) placed 63rd.

Natalie Whipple of Wayne (2:53.66) finished 66th and Lainey Obray of South Sevier (2:59.41) placed 68th.

Beaver’s Chloe Hodges (3:04.91) placed 70th and Shandee VanDeVanter of Millard (3:05.03) finished 71st.

Scarlett Rangel of North Sevier (3:18.51) finished 74th, Myanna Vasquez of Beaver (3:28.75) finished 75th and North Sevier’s Makele Neuberger (4:20.68) placed 76th.

Zarek Proffit of Snow Canyon (1:54.60) took the boys’ 800-meter dash title. South Sevier’s Blake Vellinga (2:11.79) placed 34th and Millard’s Kael Myers (2:12.28) finished 35th.

Kurtis Nielson of Delta (2:14.57) finished 46th and Keaton Hallows of North Sevier (2:15.90) placed 50th.

Millard’s Damon Christensen (2:19.07) finished 57th and his teammate, Braxton Brewer (2:21.05) placed 61st.

North Sevier’s Kelby Bosh (2:21.19) finished 62nd and Marcor Maxfield of Millard (2:22.74) placed 64th.

Delta’s Taylen Young (2:25.06) finished 65th with Millard’s Joe Flynn (2:25.98) placing 66th.

Gage Smith of Delta (2:26.02) finished 67th with Beaver’s Koby Yardley (2:27.20) placing 68th. North Sevier’s JJ Gurney (2:41.71) placed 69th and Milford’s Brayden Fisher (2:46.51) finished 70th.

North Sevier’s Gavin Baxter (2:54.66) placed 71st and his teammate, Taylor Deaton, (2:59.26) finished 72nd.

South Sevier’s Frankie Cornelius (3:03.99) placed 73rd and North Sevier’s Jack Neuberger (3:08.76) finished 74th.

Lehi’s Sarah Ballard (25.40) won the girls’ 200-meter dash title and Braiden Ivie of Emery (21.59) took the boys’ 200-meter dash crown.

Delta’s girls earned the 4 x 400 relay crown (4:12.14). The Rabbits in this event were Savannah Nielson, Kaeshay Brough, Jordyn Nielson and Adi Nielson. Millard (4:27.50) placed sixth.

Westlake’s boys took the 4 x 400 relay title (3:28.59). Millard finished seventh (3:43.85), Beaver placed 10th (3:48.30) and Delta finished 12th (3:56.35).

Cedar’s Logann Laws (138-01) took the girls’ javelin crown. Jacky Hatch of Delta (116-02) placed third and North Sevier’s Macady Goble (92-04.50) finished seventh.

Canyon View’s Jaylie Roden (129-04) took the girls’ discus title. Haylee Christenson of Delta (101-11) finished second and her teammate, Paityn Callister (99-00) placed fifth.

Beaver’s Treyson Harris (48-08.50) took the boys’ shot put crown. Christopher Keller of Milford (43-08.00) finished third. Jacob Robinson of South Sevier (40-05.00) placed eighth.

Kelsi Oldroyd of Cedar took the girls’ long jump crown (17-02.00).

Hurricane’s Sam Raddatz (164-11.50) took the boys’ javelin title. Rhett Marshall of Beaver (153-06) placed third.

Beaver’s Harris also earned the boys’ discus crown (145-06) and Millard’s Braxton Brewer (122-11) placed sixth.

Kaydee Marshall of Beaver (35-04.00) took the girls’ shot put title. Haylee Christenson of Delta (33-06.00) placed fifth and Milford’s Madysen Griffiths (31-09.00) finished eighth.

In the boys’ long jump, Snow Canyon’s Cole Warner (21-03.50) took the crown. Beaver’s Porter Albrecht (20-08.00) placed third and his teammate, Kaleb Barney (19-10.50) finished seventh.

In the girls’ high jump, to conclude the meet, Kennedy Dutson of Hurricane (5-00) took the title. Rylee Miller of Millard (5-00) finished fourth.

This concludes the track season for this spring sports season until further notice.
