OREM, Utah-Wednesday, Delta’s girls’ cross country team won the team title at the Titan Cross Country meet at Lakeside Park in Orem.

In this four-team meet for the girls, featuring Merit Prep, South Summit and Summit Academy, the Rabbits posted 29 points, with Merit and South Summit tying for second and Summit Academy placing fourth.

The star runner for Delta’s girls was Shayley Anderson who placed 11th overall (25:34.80). Other Rabbit girls to excel included Tisha Stewart, who finished 13th (26:33.60), Jamie Mitchell, who placed 15th (26:43.40) and Hannah Clark, who finished 22nd (28:17.30).

The Delta boys placed sixth overall, netting 82 points, while Waterford won the team title, posting 32 ponts.

Placing for the Rabbit boys were John McLaws (18:29.10) who placed second overall, Joseph Bliss in 10th place (19:37.20), Samuel LeBaron, who placed 39th (24:01.70), and Cody Stephenson who placed 54th overall (28:45.10).
