FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.-Tuesday, BYU junior receiver Dax Milne was named as one of three finalists for the 2020 Burlsworth Trophy.

This is annually awarded to the most outstanding football player who began his career as a walk-on.

The other finalists are Arkansas linebacker Grant Morgan and Pittsburgh center Jimmy Morrissey.

Milne ranks fourth nationally with 1,118 receiving yards and is also a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award.

Milne’s receiving yards and receptions (63) lead the squad and his eight touchdown receptions rank second on the team.

This trophy is named in honor of Brandon Burlsworth, a former University of Arkansas walk-on and All-American offensive lineman.

This award will be bestowed upon the winner in a virtual ceremony January 4.
