Colorado-Colorado Springs Outlasts Dixie State in RMAC Play

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Blend Avdili posted 27 points on 9 of 15 shooting and 5 of 9 behind the arc as the Colorado-Colorado Springs Mountain Lions edged Dixie State 73-72 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play Friday at the Gallogly Events Center.

DaRaun Clark added 19 points on 8 of 15 shooting for the Mountain Lions, who improved to 7-5 and 4-2 in conference play.

The Trailblazers, who slumped to 4-6 and 2-4 in league play were paced by Matt Conway, who scored 24 points and added six rebounds on 8 of 12 shooting.

Dixie State continues its season Saturday at the Colorado School of Mines of Golden, Colo.
