BYU’s Zach Wilson, USU’s Jordan Love and David Woodward Named To 2019 TDC Players To Watch List

COLUMBUS, Ohio-Wednesday, BYU sophomore-to-be quarterback Zach Wilson was selected by the Touchdown Club of Columbus as one of eight quarterbacks to watch on the organization’s list of 2019 players to watch.

Wilson finished his freshman season by completing all 18 of his pass attempts in a 49-18 win over Western Michigan in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

The Corner Canyon High School alum threw for 317 yards and four touchdown passes as well in the game for the Cougars.

Additionally, Utah State junior to be signal-caller Jordan Love made an appearance on the list. In 2018, he completed 64 percent of his passes for 3,567 yards, 32 touchdowns and six interceptions.

During his career at Logan, he has completed 60.7 percent of his passes for 5,198 yards, 40 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions.

The six other quarterbacks on this list include Texas junior to be Sam Ehlinger, Oregon senior to be Justin Herbert, Army senior to be Kelvin Hopkins Jr., Houston senior to be D’Eriq King, Texas A&M junior to be Kellen Mond and Memphis redshirt senior to be Brady White.

Also making this list was Utah State junior linebacker to be David Woodward. He was joined by fellow linebackers Markus Bailey of Purdue, a senior to be, Oklahoma junior to be Kenneth Murray and Boise State redshirt junior to be Curtis Weaver.
