LOUISVILLE, Ky.-Thursday, BYU and Utah football each received a representative on the Hornung Award Watch List as confirmed by the Louisville Sports Commission.
This award is annually bestowed upon the most versatile player in college football.
The representatives for each school are as follows:
BYU
senior receiver/kick returner Parker Kingston. The native of Layton, Utah and former Roy High School star posted 13 receptions for 196 yards and a score last season for the Cougars and returned two punts for a score last season while averaging 14.8 yards per return.
Utah
junior cornerback/kick returner Smith Snowden. The native of Lehi, Utah and former Skyridge High School star netted two interceptions, a forced fumble and 26.7 yards per kickoff return last season for the Utes.
Kingston and his BYU teammates start the season August 30 by hosting Portland State. Snowden and his Utah teammates visit UCLA to start the season August 30.
